At 15 years old Simona spent a summer assisting in a barbershop in her native Florence, Italy. This inspired her to begin training to be a hairdresser when she left school, and was recommended Sassoon Academy to further her hair education.
She worked in a Florence salon gaining experience and honing her skills, but London was calling, and in 2016 she took an ABC course at our academy and fell in love with the Sassoon philosophy and techniques. Simona continued attending courses and very soon after joined Sassoons as a varderer.
After qualifying as a stylist in 2018 she built a solid clientele at the City salon, before moving to Covent Garden in 2021, and then to the House of Sassoon in 2023. Simona joined the Sassoon Academy team as a full time cutting instructor in 2024, as well as taking care of her clients in the salon.
